The #kyrocaster. It’s a telecaster body with an all #maplewood neck and #figuredmaple fretboard . We’ve been waiting for the weather to cooperate, but the humidity has been high ALL year! Finally we had a day of low humidity. The #tvyellow will be dulled and the grain accentuated by a reddish brown grain filler. Then reliving will take place and the clear coat dulled down with a mild abrasive.

Binding is a meticulous process. Finding the right wood, with the right grain direction. Milling the wood to the right thickness, bending it to fit the instrument, sanding it to make it easier to lay into the cut.
These are all important, as they will add beauty,strength, and resonance to the top as it creates a better adhesion to the sides.
